More control

Decimort does not only provide bit resolution and the sampling frequency for the disc. It provides more advanced features such as:

• Two optional anti-alias filters – a steep low-pass pre-filter (rough filter) combined with a resampling frequency that removes all harmonic content above it, ensuring that no alias appears below that frequency in the spectrum. Another filter (the image filter), which also syncs with the resampler, gives you control over how many borrowed images show the highest resampling frequency when enabled.
• Adjustable Jitter – Introducing random short-duration fluctuations of the resampling frequency that result in different types of harmonic distortion.
• Two quantization methods – two quantization methods are available; Medium and medium decimation algorithms, each featuring a radically different dynamic response.
• Controllable gradient – Conceptually developed as a way to reduce audible quantization errors by masking the harmonic distortions they cause. Here to increase the number of ways sound can be processed.

Two in one
Decimort is also equipped with analog-like filters with adjustable resonance that allow further sculpting of the signal. These can be used to smooth the sound or remove more of the sonic artifacts introduced into the signal path by the modeling process. Website
